Our New Building Plans

Stawley Primary School has been fortunate to receive a grant funded by Somerset County Council for a rebuild of our school building.  This is very much needed as the buildings currently in place were designed to be temporary over 40 years ago in some cases.

Please find below the exciting plans for this site - these are currently held by the planning department in Somerset County Council.  There is a further third classroom which will add to the building and ensure our currently successful class structure continues into the future.

The proposed elevation views give a clear indicator of what the building will look like.  The proposed building layout also shows the wide entrance area which gives a large additional learning space - existing parents of the school will appreciate how important this is to us and how it adds a fantastic resource to the school.

At the moment, the proposal is going through planning, but the Contractor hopes to break ground in January 2025.  The building is currently scheduled for completion in August 2025 and will be ready for the new academic year.
